Olostep is building infrastructure for agentic search, enabling AI systems to intelligently search, extract, and structure data from the web.

The Web is the backbone of most businesses, both AI-native applications and traditional companies. In the next 2-5 years, we'll see a fundamental shift: AI agents will become the primary users of the web for work.

Olostep is attempting to build an abstraction layer over the internet for AI systems. We're at an inflection point similar to the late 90s internet, but the scale is different. If the first web connected billions of people to information, the next connects trillions of agents to knowledge.

AI agents are already being deployed across industries: giving lawyers on-demand access to the latest case law, regulatory codes, and legislation across jurisdictions; helping hedge funds extract alpha from SEC filings, earnings calls, and market signals; enabling global brands to perform sentiment analysis and monitor competitors in real time; detecting manufacturing defects early on by scanning e-commerce listings at scale; and grounding coding agents with live web context. The use cases multiply as AI models improve. And we are still in the earliest stages. The common thread is simple — the web has answers, and agents need to access them reliably.

Our goal is to operate at the edge of what's possible and useful to serve our users through great products and magical experiences.
