How AirOps Uses Olostep

AirOps helps brands understand and shape how they appear in AI search. This requires large amounts of web data – from identifying competitors to analyzing their web presence and content to tracking the brand and its competitors across the open web. Olostep’s web APIs run at the infrastructure level to provide this data at scale in a clean, structured, and continuously refreshed feed.

Key Endpoints in Use

Here's a breakdown of some of the key endpoints in use:

/maps and /crawls

/maps and /crawls to analyze how websites are structured without a sitemap.

The web wasn’t built for machines. Sitemaps are often missing, stale, or incomplete, which leaves AI systems guessing at how a site is organized.

/maps

/maps solves this by reconstructing a site's structure directly – discovering URLs, hierarchy, and internal linking without relying on a sitemap.

/crawls

/crawls then does the deep retrieval: fetching page content, rendering where needed, and returning clean output.

/answers

Take a natural question and return a direct, synthesized answer drawn from across the live web, rather than a list of links to sift through. For AirOps, this powers fast brand and competitor lookups: pulling structured facts about a company, tracking signals like hiring or product announcements, and grounding content in current, real-world information

/batches

Ingest large amounts of data from the open web. The batch architecture allows processing millions of documents in parallel in a time frame of hours, keeping the intelligence layer continuously refreshed.

Continuously Refreshed Intelligence Layer

Olostep and AirOps are also partnering on a continuously refreshed intelligence layer that tracks everything being said about a brand and its competitors across the entire open web—reviews, social, news, and owned channels. On top of that sits an analytical layer that turns almost any business question into a SQL-like query, so teams can instantly answer things like "how did sentiment toward us shift after our last launch versus competitors?" or "what are customers complaining about this week?"

Engineering and Data Support

Olostep provides a direct Slack support channel to AirOps for any question, ranging from engineering support to data analytics at scale.

The support times are fast, so fast I still believe they might have an agent replying on their behalf”

– Amr Shafik, VP of Product, AirOps

AirOps

AirOps is the growth platform for AI Search.

In a world where discovery is shifting from traditional search to AI-driven platforms, AirOps helps brands get found—and stay found.

The platform equips marketers to navigate the new discovery landscape, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and create accurate, on-brand content that earns citations from AI and trust from humans. Backed by Greylock, Unusual Ventures, Wing VC, and Founder Collective.

Olostep

Olostep is building infrastructure for the Web's second user – enabling AI systems running inside businesses to intelligently search, extract, and structure data from the web.

We're at an inflection point similar to the late 90s internet, but the scale is different. If the first web connected billions of people to information, the next connects trillions of agents to knowledge.
