How is this different from Scrape?

Scrape requires you to provide a specific URL. Answers performs the search step for you, finding the best sources to answer your question automatically.

What is the latency?

Latency typically ranges from 3 to 30 seconds depending on the complexity of the question and the number of pages the agent needs to browse.

Can I enforce a JSON schema?

Yes. You can pass a `json` parameter (JSON Schema) in your request body. The agent will attempt to extract data matching that exact structure.

Does it cite sources?

Yes. The response object includes a `sources` array listing the URLs used to generate the answer, allowing you to verify the information.

Does it handle real-time data?

Absolutely. Since it performs live searches on search engines like Google, it accesses the most up-to-date information available on the web.

How is it billed?

Answers are billed per successful request. Due to the complexity (search + multi-page scraping + LLM synthesis), the cost per request is higher than a standard scrape. Check our dashboard for current rates.
